Despite their small size, Kiwi's have a large amount of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants making them a great addition to your diet. Packed with Vitamin C and E these little gems will help to boost your immune system warding off unwanted colds and help with that desired skin glow in the mid of winter. Not to mention, they help to alkaline the body and are low in sugar.
I mixed them with a few of my favourite other green herbs, veggies and fruits to make an Extreme Green Juice.
This combination is tart and cool in nature with a mild yet refreshing taste.
5 whole organic Kiwi's, 1 organic cucumber, 1/2 an organic lime, 1: 2" piece of ginger, 1 bunch of organic italian parsley, 1 bunch organic mint, 200g organic baby spinach , 1 tsp of Raw honey, optional)
Wash fruit, vegetables and herbs. Peel lime and ginger. Place everything in your juicer, turn on and juice according to your machine.
I added a little raw honey to balance the tartness of the kiwi's, but it's not needed, and you could add any other sweet fruit if you desired a sweeter taste.
