There is no mistaking the flavour of a beet, it's bold, sweet, earthy and yells "hello, I'm here!". All of these characteristic captured my heart as a little girl and I fell madly in love. I wanted to celebrate my long life companion, even spice up our relationship a little bit. But what components could I find to mingle with the Beet?
I decided to invite Chocolate along, specifically Madagascar. Its bright, fruity and acidic. I was positive the two would play nicely together.
Add a little Chinese five spice for fun and I do believe the Beet and I have progressed to the next stage in our relationship.
